La Medaglia Calendario 2021, “Creatività”, è la prima del ciclo “La Bellezza”. Questa serie di medaglie è dedicata a ciò che è ritenuto bello e buono per i sensi e per l’anima secondo l’accezione etimologica dei termini latini “bellus” e “bonus”.
Da tali significati derivano temi che, attraverso l’arte e immagini simboliche, evocano elementi positivi della realtà in relazione al tempo presente e al futuro.
La “Creatività” dell’uomo è raffigurata come capacità di creare, elaborare, innovare con tenacia e sensibilità. Un processo intellettuale e concreto rivolto alla definizione di nuovi obiettivi per sé e per tutta la società.
Il design e i modelli sono stati realizzati da Alessio Dionisi, allievo della Scuola dell’Arte della Medaglia.
The 2021 Calendar Medal, “Creativity”, is the first issued in the “Beauty” series. This series of medals is dedicated to what is deemed beautiful and good for the senses and the soul according to the etymological meaning of the Latin words “bellus” and “bonus”. From these terms flourish themes that exploit art and symbolic images to evoke positive aspects of reality in relation with the present and future.
Man’s “Creativity” is depicted as the skill to create, develop and innovate with persistence and sensibility. An intellectual and concrete process aimed at defining new goals for oneself and for the whole human society.
The medal’s artwork and models are created by Alessio Dionisi, a student of the School of the Art of Medal Making.
