Two enchanting images bloom from the surface of this 1oz of pure silver coin, offering a wonderful tribute to the world of nature: they are a radiant daisy, symbol of light and purity, and a splendid woman's face, personification of the Italian flora, her head crowned with flowers, olive branches and oak.
Obverse: In the centre daisy flowers with, on the left, their scientific name "LEUCANTHEMUM". On the right "2025", the year of the coin’s issue, and "R", identifying the Mint of Rome. Arch-shaped, the inscription "REPUBBLICA ITALIANA". At the bottom a rhombus and the inscription "A.MASINI", signature of the designer of the obverse side.
Reverse: In the centre a woman's face with thick hair surrounded by a crown of different flowers; on the left an olive branch and "0,25EURO", the coin’s value; on the right, an oak branch. In the upper left corner, the inscription “FLORA” and in the lower right corner, the inscription “1 oz Ag 999” separated by a rhombus. At the bottom “M.CIUCCI”, signature of the designer of the reverse side.
The total mintage of the coin is 16,000 , of which 3,000 individually packaged and 13,000 in tubes of 20 coins each.
