On this occasion a further quantity of coins will be made available for sale online and the coin will be available for sale also at the Spazio Verdi sales point in Rome, in Piazza G. Verdi 1.
The iconic 20 lire, historic symbol of Italian virtues and roots, comes back to life in this gold re-edition. As in the original 20 Lire, minted for the first time in 1956, the coin features an oak branch and a female profile crowned with ears of wheat, allegorical symbols of Italy and its economic history.
Obverse: Representation of the obverse of the 20 Lire coin; Italy depicted with a profile of a woman’s face crowned with ears of wheat. Arch-shaped, the inscription “REPUBBLICA ITALIANA”. At the bottom, the signature of the designer “V. DE SETA”. Around, decorative dot pattern.
