Obverse – Christianity: at the centre the St Peter’s Basilica, at the top a stylised representation of its dome. On the left “RI”, identifying the Italian Republic; on the right “2025”, the year of the coin’s issue. At the bottom, arch-shaped, the inscription “BASILICA DI SAN PIETRO A ROMA” and “M.CIUCCI”, signature of the engraver.
Obverse – Islam: at the centre the Great Mosque of Rome, with the minaret in the foreground. Above, a stylised representation of its dome; below, a stylised depiction of the square and its fountain. On the left “RI”, identifying the Italian Republic; on the right “2025”, the year of the coin’s issue and “M.CIUCCI”, signature of the engraver. At the bottom, arch-shaped, “GRANDE MOSCHEA DI ROMA”.
Obverse – Judaism: at the centre the Great Synagogue of Rome and, in the background, a stylised representation of its dome. In the lower left field “RI”, identifying the Italian Republic; in the lower right “2025”, the year of the coin’s issue. At the top, arch-shaped, the inscription “TEMPIO MAGGIORE EBRAICO DI ROMA”, in exergue “S.CIUCCI”, signature of the engraver.
Common Reverse: a starry sky, symbolising Abraham’s dream of a progeny countless like the stars. Three circles represent the three religions that unite in a symbolic connection at the centre where, through the reproduction of Michelangelo's characteristic layout of the Campidoglio square, Rome is evoked, the city that hosts the St Peter’s Basilica, the Great Mosque and the Great Synagogue. In the centre, the coin’s value “3 EURO” and “R” identifying the Mint of Rome. At the bottom “S.CIUCCI”, signature of the engraver. On the edge the inscription “IN ABRAMO TRE FEDI UNA VISIONE”
